Hisanori Takahashi (LAA) entered the game in the bottom of the 3rd inning with a runner on second, two out, and the Angels down 5-1.  Takahashi retired Raul Ibanez on two pitches to get out of the inning, but surrendered a three-run homer to Derek Jeter in the bottom of the 4th.  He left in the bottom of the 5th with a runner on third and two out.
