The latest on Junichi Tazawa (BOS), from MLB.com:
The Red Sox made a couple moves involving pitchers Monday, announcing that Junichi Tazawa will be activated and Rich Hill will be placed on the 60-day disabled list. Tazawa, who had been on the 60-day disabled list while recovering from elbow surgery, will be optioned to Double-A Portland.
... Tazawa may provide a fitting template for Hill's recovery. The 25-year-old had reconstructive surgery on his elbow last April and missed the rest of the season. Tazawa started the 2011 season on the 60-day disabled list and began a rehabilitation assignment with Class A Salem on May 20.
Yu Darvish (TEX) threw thirty-nine pitches in the bullpen on Wednesday.
