Yakult Swallows

Shinya Miyamoto took a line drive hit by Shingo Kawabata off his left leg during pre-game practice today.  Miyamoto disappeared into the dugout while telling reporters he was fine; Kawabata quickly followed to make sure everything was ok.

In the end, it may have jolted Miyamoto back to life since he ended up going 2-for-4 tonight against the Hanshin Tigers.  Coming into tonight, he had just one hit in his last eighteen trips to the plate.
