Nippon Ham Fighters

Hideki Kuriyama told reporters on Tuesday he plans to go with a six-man starting rotation.  Yuki Saito will likely get Friday's start against Softbank.  With starters pitching on six days of rest, Saito will likely end getting every Friday start up through until the All-Star break.  The six days of rest will also probably help Saito -- so far this year, he has made five starts on six days of rest and is 2-3 with a 1.87 ERA; he has made four starts on five days of rest and is 2-1 with a 3.38 ERA.  Source: Nikkan Sports 6/20/2012
