Yomiuri Giants

Shinnosuke Abe became the fourth player in franchise history -- behind Sadaharu Oh (21 seasons) , Shigeo Nagashima (17 seasons), and Tatsunori Hara (14 seasons) -- to record ten or more homers over twelve or more consecutive seasons.  He is also the third player in franchise history (after Nagashima and Hara) to do it beginning with his first year.  Source: Nikkan Sports 6/25/2012

Sports Hochi Osaka notes that this was the fourth time in about a span of a month that Mickolio missed an outing/game because something was wrong.

Yokohama Bay Stars

One comment on “Chunichi, Yakult, Yomiuri, Hanshin, Hiroshima, Yokohama: June 25, 2012

  1. Christopher Pellegrini

Intriguing note about Milledge. He’s been a consistent contributor both offensively and defensively since the get-go.

Just one thing–he has 9 Ks and 10 BBs by my very hasty calculations (since May 28th).

Anyway, Milledge is adjusting very nicely, and it shouldn’t be too surprising if he keeps upping his slash line as he sees more CL pitching.
