Former pro boxer Yoko Gushiken stood in the batter's box for the ceremonial first pitch -- he bunted the ball, ran to first, and signaled himself safe with both arms. Orion Beer girl Mai Moromizato threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Yakult: Masubuchi started his fourth game of the season and got the win. He is now 2-2 in twenty-four games. This was Masubuchi's first victory as a start since September 6, 2011 (vs Yokohama). ...
