Tony Blanco left today's game against the Yokohama Bay Stars when he was hit by a pitch on the back of his left hand during his at bat in the 10th inning. He was taken to a Nagoya hospital and diagnosed with a fracture in the second metacarpal. While there is no timetable on how long he will be out, it will likely take more than a month for a full recovery.

UPDATE 7/10 @ 1:13pm - Blanco had his hand/finger was placed in a cast on Monday. He will need to keep the cast on for three to six weeks. He was also taken off the active roster on Monday. Source: Daily Sports 7/10/2012
