The Swallows are planning to file a grievance against the umpires on behalf of Lastings Milledge.
"I wanted the umpires to take a more adult approach to this. These kind of calls do nothing for the relationship between player and umpire. I plan to raise this as an issue with other NPB teams," said Yakult Swallows' managing director Junsei Atarashi.
Junji Ogawa offered the following comment to reporters: "Players that work hard are going to have similar reactions. I want umpires to act like adults."
Milledge served one-game suspension on Sunday after he was issued his second ejection of the year on Saturday for arguing balls and strikes.

Tigers' owner Shinya Arai told reporters that now was not the time to think about making deals for new players because it was not the solution and would only lead to problems next season.
