Masahiro Araki was examined at a hospital today and diagnosed with a strained right biceps femoris muscle.  Araki will be removed from the active roster on Thursday.  Source: Daily Sports 7/11/2012

Yokohama Bay Stars

Takayuki Kajitani hurt his right ankle while running out a double in tonight's game against the Yakult Swallows (8th inning, when sliding into second).  Kajitani was taken to the hospital after the game.  No other information is known.  Source: Sponichi 7/11/2012

      Which original report are you talking about?

      AFAIK, the reason he’s coming off the active roster today is because of a hamstring strain (biceps femoris muscle), which will reportedly take about two weeks for a full recovery.

    Oops, I guess I should have taken a class on anatomy.
    I assumed a bicep was in the arm.
    Never heard a hamstring injury described to that detail.
