Nippon Ham Fighters

Eiichi Koyano did not play in Tuesday's game against Lotte becaues he was not feeling well -- he had a fever and the chills; he went to the hospital for an IV treatment.  Koyano might be ok to play on Wednesday.  Source: Sports Hochi 7/11/2012, Nikkan Sports 7/10/2012

The Nippon Ham Fighters announced on Tuesday that Terrmel Sledge will have his right knee scoped on July 17.  Source: Sports Hochi 7/11/2012

Seibu Lions

During Tuesday's game against Softbank, Yasuyuki Kataoka tweaked his right wrist while trying to catch a ball on defense in the top of the 2nd inning.  Kataoka remained in the game but was replaced on defense in the top of the 4th.  He was taken to the hospital during the game and was cleared of any problems to his bones; he is expected to have the wrist re-evaluated on Wednesday.  Source: Sponichi 7/11/2012

Kazuhisa Ishii was taken off the active roster on Tuesday with discomfort in his left elbow.  The Lions are looking at him returning to the starting rotation some time after the All-Star break.  Source: Sports Hochi 7/10/2012

Chunichi Dragons

Masahiro Araki asked to be removed from Tuesday's game against the Hanshin Tigers with discomfort in his left hamstring.  After reaching on a walk in the 7th inning, Araki stole second and, one play later, asked to be removed from the game because of something he felt in his hamstring.  It does not appear to be serious enough to warrant a removal from the active roster.  Source: Sports Hochi 7/11/2012

Yokohama Bay Stars

Alex Ramirez was replaced by pinch-hitter Hichori Morimoto in the 6th inning of Tuesday's game against Yokohama because of discomfort in his right leg.  The team will wait to see how he is doing on Wednesday before making any decisions on what to do next.  Source: Sports Hochi 7/10/2012
