Aranami recorded his eighth modasho of the season (first four-hit game since May 8 vs Yomiuri); Nakamura his sixth of the year. ... Kajitani left the game after he hurt his right ankle while running out a double in the top of the 8th. ... The Bay Stars' three-game winning streak at Jingu came to an end.
Yakult: Hidaka picked up his first victory since October 2, 2011 (vs Yokohama) and is 1-1 in thirty-seven games. ... Barnette recorded his twentieth save of the year. ... Hatakeyama's grand slam in the 8th was the fourth of his career. ... The Swallows stopped a three-game losing streak.

Could the Baystars possibly win 2 in a row?
Watch the crazy talk, Steve.
Haha, I think it’s quite possible!
They have their ace on the mound and the Swallows bats have considerably cooled down (well they weren’t expected keep hitting like that anyways). It will be tough, but I think they have a great shot at it!
Hatakeyama is awesome!
Thanks Kaga, learn to pitch.
Another loss. That is 3 totally brutal losses late in the game, (plus 2 other normal beatdowns) in the last week.
