Hiroshima upset Yokohama was able to make a double-switch on a pitcher ejection

Yokohama's Hiroyuki Fukuyama was ejected from Friday's game after he threw a dangerous pitch at Hiroshima's Brad Eldred in the top of the 6th.  Shintaro Ejiri entered the game and for Fukuyama.  The Bay Stars took it one step further and called for a double-switch: they also sent in Tatsuya Shimozono to take over in right for Masaaki Koike -- Ejiri took Koike's spot in the order (7th) and Shimozono took Fukuyama's spot (9th).  That, in turn, allowed Shimozono to become the second batter of the inning in the bottom of the 6th.

While there is no official rule that prevents double-switches on ejections in the CL agreement, Hiroshima feels teams should not be able to take advantage of the situation.  They are currently in talks with the Central League.
