The Tigers announced that Daiki Enokida was diagnosed with inflammation in his left elbow. The team trainer told reporters that Enokida will begin a throwing program once he has had a chance to improve the condition of his elbow and shoulder. He also said that Enokida has not complained of any pain since he began his rehab at Naruohama.
Said Enokida, "I could begin throwing since I am not feeling any pain. I would like to move forward, but it is up to the trainer to decide. I can not be activated until August 5 so I still have time. There is no need to rush."
