Any news on Nemoto’s injury? He left the game after the play where he got caught off second for a DP. I haven’t found any update on his condition.

I really feel bad for Abe – he pitched quite well but was pulled for some reason after 5 even though he was still looking OK and had only thrown 80 pitches. Just another in a series of bizarre in-game moves lately.

You may have already heard, but in case not…

According to Sports Hochi, Nemoto twisted his left knee and told reporters after the game, “I have never hurt my knee before so I do not know what to say. I may have to go to the hospital tomorrow.” The Sports Hochi reporter also mentioned that he was dragging hit foot a little.
