So how does “franchise history” apply to the Orix Buffaloes? Does it only include the Hankyu/Orix branch or does it also include Kintetsu?
In other words, is the last appearance of the Orix Buffaloes in the Nippon Series 2001 or 1996?
Kintetsu not included. Keiji Suzuki’s number is retired, but Mitsuteru Goto still wears #1.
I mean, Mitsutaka Goto.
