Rakuten: The Eagles three-game winning streak came to an end with the team's first loss in six games since their last defeat on August 4 (vs Nippon Ham). ... Jimenez lost his second straight start and dropped to 5-9 in seventeen starts. ... Ginji committed a throwing error in the bottom of the 5th that led to an unearned run that tied the game at one. He also could not properly handle Uchikawa's hit in the bottom of the 6th -- went under his glove into center. Ginji later told reporters he should have been able to glove the ball.
