The Fighters will give select fans a chance to trade in their old Nippon Ham uniforms for actual game-used uniforms.  More information on how to enter can be found at the official team site.

Orix Buffaloes

Chihiro Kaneko could return to the active roster some time early next month.  Kaneko threw about fifty pitches at around 90% in the bullpen on Sunday.  Assuming no problems, he could pitch in his first rehab Ni-gun game on August 21 (vs Hiroshima).  After that, he will probably pitch in a couple/few more rehab Ni-gun games before he rejoins the active roster.  Source: Sanspo 8/15/2012

Chiba Lotte Marines

Seth Greisinger beat the Softbank Hawks on Tuesday and became the first foreign pitcher (and eleventh overall) to record victories against twelve different NPB teams.  Greisinger recorded victories against nine teams while with Yakult and Yomiuri and collected victories against Seibu, Nippon Ham, and Softbank after joining Lotte.  He is also the second fastest to the milestone (sixth year) behind Yasutomo Kubo (fifth year).  Source: Nikkan Sports 8/15/2012
