Notes
The Fighters wore dark uniform tops (Eco-Unis) as part of their Summer Festa series. The Marines switched over to home uniforms (white tops) in order to avoid confusion. Source: Nikkan Sports 8/17/2012
Lotte: The Marines dropped their third game in a row. ... Naruse took the loss and is 11-6 in twenty starts. He is also 0-3 in three starts against the Fighters this season. ... Kakunaka recorded his seventh modasho of the year. ... T. Ogino committed two errors during one play in the 4th that led to two unearned runs: dropped a shallow fly to center (ball popped out of glove; fielding error) and threw the ball to first where there were no fielders (throwing error; perhaps he got temporarily confused since the Fighters were wearing uniforms similar to Lotte's usual road unis).
Nippon Ham: The Fighters are 6-0-3 over their last nine games at Sapporo Dome. ... Yoshikawa won his third consecutive start and is 10-4 over nineteen starts. This is his first double-digit victory season of his career. ... Miyanishi recorded his 100th career hold point. ... H. Takeda recorded his eighteenth save of the year. ... Tanaka extended his hitting streak to twelve games.

lol @ Ogino. I have no idea what the hell he was doing. He was like… running forward but not toward the ball.
He threw the ball to the first base which no one covered. The fighters were wearing black today. I think Ogino had been so confused since the game started.
