Hanshin: Iwata got the win and is 6-11 in nineteen starts. He stopped a personal six-game losing streak with his first win in eight starts since his last victory on June 11 (vs Softbank). ... Fujikawa recorded his seventeenth save of the year. ... This was T. Arai's second two-homer game of the season. FWIW: in both games, he hit the home runs in back-to-back trips to the plate. ...
