Daiki Enokida faced nine batters, threw thirty-three pitches, and gave up one hit during situational batting practice at Naruohama on Friday. He told reporters he felt no anxiety about his elbow while pitching.
Enokida will toss another situational batting practice on Sunday. If things go well, the team could test to see how he handles throwing on consecutive days some time next week.

Something similar happened to Futoshi Kobayashi on Friday: he was taken out of the game in the middle of the 6th inning because got a cramp in his right index finger, due to dehydration.
