Masakazu Fukukawa was ejected from a Ni-gun game against Yomiuri on August 19 because he became violent after Daisuke Nakai barreled into him hard at home plate.  The NPB commissioner's office issued an 80,000 yen fine to Fukukawa today.  Source: Nikkan Sports 8/20/2012

Yomiuri Giants

Shinnosuke Abe collected the sixth walk-off homer (eleventh walk-off hit) of his career on Sunday.  Franchise leaders for walk-off homers: Sadaharu Oh (eight), Shigeo Nagashima (seven), Tomohiro Nioka and Abe (six).  Franchise leaders for walk-off hits: Oh (fifteen), Nagashima (fourteen), Tatsunori Hara (twelve), Tetsuharu Kawakami and Abe (eleven).  Source: Nikkan Sports 8/20/2012

Kazuo Ito started a Ni-gun game against Hiroshima on Sunday and gave up three runs over five innings of work.  Final line: 5 IP, 97 NP, 24 BF, 6 H, 7 SO, 2 BB, 1 HBP, 3 R, 3 ER.  He also accidentally hit Tsubasa Aizawa (coming back from an HBP to the face) -- Aizawa was not too pleased and stared Ito down.  Source: Daily Sports 8/20/2012
