Softbank Hawks

Seibu fans booed the Hawks after two of their players left Tuesday's game after getting hit by pitches: Takuya Kuriyama (left arm) in the 8th and Hideto Asamura (head) in the 9th.  Source: Nikkan Sports 8/22/2012

Nippon Ham Fighters

The Fighters sent sixteen players to the plate in the 5th inning on Tuesday against the Orix Buffaloes and scored eleven runs on nine hits and four walks.  The eleven runs in one inning tied a franchise mark set on August 20, 1966.  Source: Sanspo 8/22/2012

Seibu Lions

The Lions announced on Tuesday that they suspended Hirotaka Koishi -- he will be allowed to practice, but will not be allowed to pitch in any games -- for an indefinite amount of time.

Koishi crashed into two motorcycles on Sunday because he was not paying enough attention to the road.

Rakuten Eagles

Brandon Duckworth could make his debut Ichi-gun start on August 25 against the Nippon Ham Fighters.  He joined the Ichi-gun team for workouts today for the first time since he arrived in Japan.

Kelvin Jimenez was originally slated to start the game on the 25th, but was taken off the active roster on Monday with inflammation in his right middle finger.
