Pena was back in the line-up today and went 3-for-4: RBI single to center, strikeout swinging, single to right, double to right.
Nippon Ham Fighters

Hideaki Wakui became just the second player in NPB history to be the opening day starter and record at least twenty saves. The other: Akio Saito in 1982.
