Sadaharu Oh spoke to reporters today about the WBC manager situation and said that while a decision was not made with regards to their status (active or retired), he felt that all twelve current managers would turn down any offers to manage Samurai Japan.  He also said that a decision needed to be made soon in order to avoid becoming a distraction -- both in terms of the pennant race and the players.

Oh is currently assisting NPB commissioner Ryozo Kato select the next WBC manager.
