Chunichi Dragons: Kazuki Yoshimi will require about four weeks of rest

Sports Hochi is reporting that Kazuki Yoshimi underwent an MRI today and was diagnosed with factured olecranon spur in his right elbow (肘頭骨棘骨折 ?). He will require about four weeks of rest.
According to the team, the swelling in Yoshimi's elbow is not going away due to pressure on the nerves.
Said Yoshimi, "It is worse than the last time [I had right elbow surgery]. I feel awful about the timing of this [injury]."
Morimichi Takagi told reporters he does not expect a return in time for the Climax Series.

Ouch! What a blow. I was sure Chunichi could beat the Giants in Climax Series, but without Yoshimi…
You were ‘sure’ the Dragons were going to beat them with him? I don’t know.. we really haven’t seen the two aces from each team gunning it out. As great as Soto has been, I am hesitant to put him up there with Yoshimi’s and Sugiuchi’s.
Anyways, I think the series was far from certain esp. for the Dragons even with Yoshimi. Now that he’s out, I don’t think they have much of a shot. Who knows.. It’s baseball, anything can happen..
Ah, my b. I misread it. I thought you said you were sure they were going to beat the G’s ;)
I am not sure what your ? mark means, but you got that right.
When it comes to medical terms, Kanji is a lot easier to figure out than Latin: 肘頭 (elbow point) 骨棘 (bony thorn) 骨折 (ouch), dahellwith “olecranon”!
Yes, I actually wrote “I was sure they COULD win”. But whatever, now we have to worry for the first round! If the Swallows are healthy, it’s gonna be a tough one.
