The Chiba Lotte Marines are reportedly interested in bringing Tsuyoshi Nishioka back.

Said Lotte official Nobuhira Hayashi, "We will take a forward-thinking approach.  We are still in the process of checking things out, but [Nishioka] is a player that came out of our organization and I think he is a good player.  A part of me would like to welcome him back. ... He was a core player and was also a captain.  We are looking into him."

The Hanshin Tigers are also interested in the twenty-eight-year-old infielder.
