The Twelfth Georgia Award for 2012 went to Mitsuo Yoshikawa for his 1-0 complete game shutout against the Softbank Hawks on September 14.

The game was knotted at zero over the first seven innings.  Yoshikawa retired the side in the top of the 8th and the Fighters managed to push a run across the plate in their bottom-half of the inning.  In the top of the 9th, the the lefty recorded three consecutive ground ball outs for his second shutout of the year.   Georgia video - Box score
