Softbank Hawks

The FIghters announced that they informed Ni-gun INF/base-running coach Yasunaga Makishi and Ni-gun batting coach Iwao Omura they will not be offered contracts for the 2013 season.  Source: official announcement

The Lions will be holding tryouts for three players from the Dominican Republic during their Ichi-gun/Ni-gun join workouts at Seibu Dome in November -- one pitcher, one infielder, and one outfielder.  All three players will be in their twenties.  Ikusei contracts are also possible.  Source: Sports Hochi 10/26/2012
