Nippon Ham: M. Takeda took the loss. ... Nakata took an HBP off his wrist the back of his left hand in the 1st inning and was removed from the game on defense in the 4th inning.

Hirokazu Sawamura and Masaru Takeda are having a pitching duel so far. Hisayoshi Chono solo homerun is the difference right now. Sawamura hits a double. Well, it might be single and an error in the bottom of the sixth.
This game could have been a lot more interesting if Nioka managed to tie it in the top of the 9th.
BTW: Sawamura’s hit in the 6th was ruled a double.
I thought Chono hit the home run, on the HR summary it says Sawamura hit the HR.
Chono is correct. It was a typo on my part. Fixed.
