Yomiuri: The Giants four-game Nippon Series winning streak came to an end. ... Houlton took the loss. ... T. Matsumoto and Skamoto each collected three hits. ... Abe was removed from the game on defense in the bottom of the 5th after he tweaked his right ankle while running out a grounder to second in the 5th inning. Source: Nikkan Sports 10/30/2012
Nippon Ham: The Fighters stopped a four-game Nippon Series losing streak. ... Wolfe got the win. ... Every player in the starting line-up collected at least one hit.

The two announced pitchers were born at Fullerton, California. Former Dodger D. J. Houlton (WHIP=1.01) has a better repertoire than Brian Wolfe (WHIP=1.31). So although they would play at Sapporo Dome stil I think that Giants have the advantage in this game and the fact that the Fighters are in a must win situation could also help to make things tougher for the home team. Go Giants!
Not only are they both from Southern California, they both attended Servite High School.
I Think it hadn’t happened before in Nippon Series. It would be interesting to know. I hope Abe would be ready for tonight game. Let,s see if we can avoid to get tied up, Ken.
Fighters’ bats really came alive at Osaka Dome.
i think, you mean sapporo dome :)
Yes, thanks. Sapporo Dome.
