Tsuyoshi Nishioka is scheduled to meet with the Chiba Lotte Marines on Monday. Sports Hochi reports that while the Marines will most likely consider his requests on contract years, they will probably stay at around 170M yen per year. Including signing bonuses and incentives, It is possible they could end up offering him a two-year deal worth a total of about 400M yen.
Lotte is also apparently prepared to give him back his old uniform number (seven).

I am at best ambivalent about this. He could be a big impact player but he’s more likely to be a distraction.
how come he become a distraction? He was one a player on your team..
