Sponichi and Daily Sports have posted reports that Tsuyoshi Nishioka is close to officially joining the Hanshin Tigers.  A number of industry sources told reporters they felt Nishioka will contact the organization within the next couple of days to tell them that he will accept their offer.  A press conference will likely follow thereafter.
