Chunichi Dragons announce deal for Brad Bergesen

The Chunichi Dragons announced today that they acquired twenty-seven-year-old right-handed pitcher Brad Bergesen from the Arizona Diamondbacks in a "money trade." The Dragons see Bergesen as another arm for the starting rotation.
No other information is known at this time.

UPDATE @ 9:18pm - Bergesen got a one-year deal worth an estimated US$750,000 (~61.5 million yen) plus performance bonuses with a US$150,000 (~12.3 million yen) signing bonus. Source: Sanspo 12/1/2012
