Toshiya Sugiuchi (Yomiuri) could end up being the only player on the roster to participate in all three WBC tournaments.  Source: Sanspo 12/5/2012

Kenta Maeda and Takeru Imamura could become the first Hiroshima pitchers to pitch at the WBC.  Hiroki Kuroda made the 2006 roster, but had to sit out because of an injury.  Katsuhiro Nagakawa made the preliminary roster in 2009, but made it no further than that.

In terms of position players, Takahiro Arai made the roster in 2006.  Yoshiyuki Ishihara and Kenta Kurihara (injury replacement for Shuichi Murata) were on the 2009 roster.
