Softbank Hawks

Chikyu Kankyo High School is planning to name a baseball field after former student and Ikusei 2nd round draft pick Yusuke Otaki.  Otaki is the first student to be drafted out of Chikyu Kankyo and the first student to be selected out of a correspondence school.  Source: Nikkan Sports 12/7/2012

Chiba Lotte Marines

The Marines are thinking about giving their four players from the 2012 draft class a tour of a Lotte factory.  The last time they gave newly drafted players a tour of their factories was back in 1982.  The Marines are hoping to give players a better idea of what Lotte, in the general sense, is about.  Source: Sponichi 12/7/2012

Hanshin Tigers

1st round draft pick Shintaro Fujinami could begin throwing an NPB regulation baseball soon.  Source: Nikkan Sports 12/7/2012

The Tigers are already thinking about selling two types of Fujinami towels: an oen muffler towel for 1,890 yen and a player's name face towel for 840 yen.  If the designs are approved, the oen muffler towel could go on sale as early as February; the player's name face towel as early as the start of the season.  Source: Sanspo 12/7/2012
