The New York Yankees and Ichiro Suzuki are apparently close to a deal.  From ESPN's Andrew Marchand:

Ichiro Suzuki and the New York Yankees are expected to finalize a one-year contract this week, according to a baseball official with knowledge of the talks.

Suzuki, 39, finished this past season with a .283 batting average and a .307 on-base percentage. He could be slated as the Yankees' every-day right fielder this upcoming season since free agent Nick Swisher is not expected to return.
