Softbank Hawks: Yuichi Honda’s “naked slaps” could become an ice-breaker for Samurai Japan

Yuichi Honda has an idea for what Samurai Japan can do to help improve team chemistry after workouts and games before and during the World Baseball Classic.

Naked Slaps

"I offer no guarantees the team will win by doing this.  However, it will help lighten the mood," said Honda.

He continued, "Not just slapping each other's backs, but also chests and buttocks.  I did it with [Seiichi] Uchikawa and [Nobuhiro Matsuda]."

This is apparently an innocent idea to light the mood, bring players together, and alleviate stress.
