The Buffaloes held a press conference of Yoshio Itoi and Tomoya Yagi at Hotto Motto today.  Itoi was assigned the number seven and Yagi the number twenty-seven.

During the press conference, Itoi was asked about his desire to play in the Majors.  He replied, "This is not about it being difficult [to as Orix about posting me], but right now, I just want to play baseball so that I can help my new teammates reach the top."

2012 Draft Class

3rd round draft pick Torai Fushimi plans to take a number of different colored catcher's mitts to spring camp and use them based on pitcher preferences.
