The Hawks held a staff meeting at Yahoo Dome today.  Spring camp assignments will be announced on the 30th.

Shota Takeda closed out his training in Miyazaki and started working out at the Saitozaki facilities on Friday.  He gained three kilograms (he now weighs eighty-four kilograms) and saw his fat content drop six percent to sixteen.

The Marines held a press conference for Dicky Gonzalez at QVC Marine today.  Gonzalez arrived in Japan on Friday.

Gonzalez would like to start, but will pitch wherever he is told.
