Yoshitomo Tsutsugo gained about four kilograms during the winter and currently weighs 101 kilograms. Tsutsugo stayed back after general workouts today for extra batting practice.

Kiyoshi Nakahata is planning to use Nyjer Morgan extensively during spring camp games so that he can get a better feel for what kind of player he is.
Morgan's response: "Of course, I plan to play in ever game. I am not into studying footage of players anyway. I am more about playing games. I will stand in the batter's box and hit the pitches that come to me."
