  • Matt Clark: fifty-seven swings, eleven over the fence
  • Yohei Oshima: faced Daisuke Yamai, twenty-six pitches (twelve were balls), fourteen swings, five could-be hits

  • Takuya Asao: BP, faced Ryoji Nakata and Yusuke Matsui, forty-six pitches, all fastballs, allowed eight could-be hits including one over the fence

Yohei Oshima worked out under a different training menu today because of tightness (discomfort) in his left elbow.  He will also sit out Tuesday's practice game against Hanwha.

Samurai Japan coaches Masataka Nashida and Kazuyoshi Tatsunami showed some interest in Shuhei Takahashi (Chunichi) and spent some time working with him during their visit today.
