Takayuki Kajitani felt pain on the left side of his chest on Friday and was evaluated at two hospitals.  He was ultimately diagnosed with a contusion.  Kajitani may have suffered the bruise while scoring on double in the 1st inning of a practice game against Hanwha on the 12th.

Nineteen pitchers played a modified game of tag as part of their training on Friday.  Yuki Kuniyoshi had the distinction of being the last to be IT and had to do a 100 squats.

The pitchers also swam some relay races in the pool.
