If Samurai Japan makes it to the Finals on the 19th, Sho Nakata could still re-join the team as early as the 21st.  And depending on how much he plays during the WBC, he could end up in an exhibition game against Rakuten at Tokyo Dome on the same day.

Chiba Lotte Marines

Orix Buffaloes

As of now, the infield will probably be: Takahiro Okada at first, Keiichi Hirano at second, Aarom Baldiris at third, and Ryoichi Adachi at short.  Mitsutaka Goto is not ready to become a utility infielder and will try to win a starting job somewhere in the infield (second, third, and short).

Goto was called up today and should have a chance to play with Hirano hurt.

Hirano (minor right calf strain) has no problem swinging the bat and can do some light running.  However, he needs to be careful since he is still not 100%.
