Softbank Hawks

Yuki Yoshimura played in a practice game against Kyushu Kyoritsu University on Wednesday.  He was the starting DH and batted fourth.  He went 1-for-3 with two RBI -- he hit a 3-1 fastball for a two-run home run in the 5th.

Yoshimura hurt his left calf while running the bases during situational batting practice on February 11.  He also struggled with some lower back problems.  He played in his first game on the Tuesday (vs Industrial League team JR Kyushu).

In order to increase his chances at playing, Yoshimura is working out in the outfield, first, and third.
