Top team officials, including president Nobuo Minami, director Eiichi TakanoYutaka Wada, and head coach Masahiro Kuroda, met on Wednesday for about two hours to talk about current team needs.  The group confirmed that pitching is still a major concern and that the front office should be looking for a pitcher on the foreign market that can start and relieve.  The team already has a list of possible candidates.  GM Katsuhiro Nakamura is expected to travel to the US once the regular season starts to check on player availability.
