Chunichi Dragons

Daniel Cabrera apparently was asked if he was interested in playing for the Dominican Republic during the WBC, but said no because he did not want to sit through another eighteen hour flight to get from/to Japan.

Cabrera is scheduled to start a Ni-gun game against Orix at Nagoya Stadium on the 29th.  He could make his first Ichi-gun start during the third series of the season (vs Yomiuri, at Tokyo Dome, April 5-7).
