Kensuke Kondo was hit by a pitch on the right side of the head during a Ni-gun game against Seibu at Kamagaya today. He was taken to the hospital and CT scans came back negative for any irregularities. He was allowed to return home after a cut on his head was stitched.
The stitches will be removed in about a week. No limits have been placed on his workouts. Depending on how he is feeling, he could play in a Ni-gun game against Yakult on Friday.
