Not sure how long it will last, but both DeNA and Orix have such great hitters in their line up. True the pitching isn’t the best, but barring injuries, I expect both teams to compete til the end of the season. Who knows.

And I must add that it sickens me to see the Giants without a loss. I know it’s way early in the season, but come on, this is baseball, not football. Don’t let them go Barcelona on everyone.

Legally – Pacific League TV (PL only, but that’s all you want to watch anyway, right?). Not sure if you can register from overseas but if you have an account it DOES work overseas.

Not quite as legally – Justin.tv is always popular. You can ask around on twitter during a game, someone always has a link.

Pa league TV is really lovely, though. Worth the money.

speaking of NPB, is anyone sure that there are still using the same ‘standard’ ball as last year? Blanco, Whitesell both have 3-hr games and Ginji (?!?!??) already has a 2-hr game and the season isn’t even a month old. The HR rate has skyrocketed this year and there hasn’t been much turnover in personnel from last year to this year. My hunch is that NPB saw tne #’s from last year and decided to ‘liven’ the ball just a bit.

I wouldn’t be surprised, but don’t forget Blanco’s 3-HR game was really windy as was Whitesell’s (though only his 3rd looked like it got help from the wind).

But they SHOULD liven the ball anyway. I love pitching and defense but the near complete lack of power the last 2 years has been very annoying.
