After today's Ni-gun start, 1st round draft pick Shohei Otani will likely pitch in two more games this month (one every ten days or so, depending on the weather) before making his Ichi-gun debut as a pitcher in May.

Yoshinao Kamata had another rough outing on Wednesday and has now given up thirteeen runs on fourteen hits, five walks, and three HBPs over 8.1 innings of work.  He will likely get another chance at Ichi-gun since, according to a quote by pitching coach Yoshinori Sato, "there is no one else."
