Where the hell’s Maeda? He’s supposed to be starting and instead Nakazaki’s pitching (already threw a gopher ball). I bet on the fish because of the pitching advantage (Giants starting a rookie against an ace).

No doubt the announcer said something but Maeda but I only know five words of Japanese so I didn’t catch it.

Is it a coincidence that Eldred (who hits fairly well against the Giants)has been HBP more times by the Yomiuri pitchers or is the Giant manager instructing them to throw at him? If that is the way they have to win the championship, by throwing at opposing players to cause intimidation, then ultimately the baseball gods will punish them! Throwing at a batter for no reason is a COWARDLY act. Shame on the Giants or perhaps there should be a name change to Maggots.

The Giants leading 2-0, bottom of the 4th, runner on first with no out, count 2-2 is not a situation where they would give a free pass to the tying runner.
